It’s the grand return of the Stringpack, nearly 10 years after the first version and a detour through the Shorty. The same concept remains: a recognized harness, the String 3.0, and a backpack assembled to create a convertible bag/harness. Like all our lightweight products, the Stringpack is very easy to use, allowing you to focus on what matters most: walking and flying. The use of our ripstop fabric with Dyneema offers a balance of lightness and durability that we have tested extensively over time. 

CONVERTIBLE NON REVERSIBLE


The Stringpack is not a reversible harness.

The back reinforcement and shoulder straps are the same in both flight and walking positions. This technique saves weight and carrying volume, making the entire system easier to use.

The positioning of the bag during flight is also more efficient.

GEOMETRY

LEG-STRAP ABS

 

The Stringpack features the leg-strap geometry developed over 10 years ago with the first generations of String. This design provides excellent stability and precise handling. No chest strap adjustment is necessary, as the geometry easily adapts to the pilot’s body shape.

This type of geometry allows for a front opening of the harness. The leg straps close directly into the main carabiner, making it very easy to get into the harness, even with skis or crampons on your feet.

3D SHAPING

 

The Stringpack adheres to our rule of textile structure construction: 3D shaping. The assembly of fabric pieces creates a form for the structure, providing support and comfort.

VOLUME HIKE 55L / FLY 40L

 

The Stringpack has a carrying capacity of 55 liters, suitable for many paragliding wings, from mountain wings to some small-sized EN-B wings. For bulkier wings, packing them into a compression bag is recommended.In the air, the volume is reduced by 15 liters to prevent the load from shifting to the lower back.

A large front pocket allows for quick storage of items such as clothing without needing to open the entire bag.

Additionally, top access to the bag enables convenient storage of the reserve parachute and helmet.

KOROYD PROTECTOR

 

The Stringpack is equipped with attachment points on the leg straps to install the String Permair protection. This protection uses PERMAIR technology developed by Skywalk and is certified to EN, LTF, and CE standards. It weighs 410 grams and is inflated using the inflation bag provided with the protection.

FABRICS DYNEEMA

 

Robust materials based on ripstop with Dyneema and high tenacity polyamide. The technical collaboration between the Catalan textile manufacturer IBQ and NEO has resulted in the development of a ripstop fabric with Dyneema yarn on a high tenacity polyamide base, all coated with polyurethane. This highly technical fabric combines the characteristics needed for lightweight paragliding and outdoor products: 

- High resistance to tearing and abrasion

- Low elongation

- No deformation

- Low dirt and washable (30° max)

- Very light

- Best compromise between durability andlightness
